I love to watch fireworks, whether it is Canada Day, 4th of July, or any type of party. I have tried to take pictures of fireworks before, and while they are okay, I always wondered how some photographers got theirs to look so great. I soon found my answer when I bought Scott Kelby's "The Digital Photography Book." In this book he shares numerous tips about shooting different subjects in different conditions. I was thrilled to find a page devoted to Fireworks. I took his advice and was pleased with many of the photos that I took, including this one shot in Manuel mode at f/11.0 with a shutter speed of 4 seconds and ISO 200.
